We have been having the prettiest weather here in Cbus. (BOUT TIMMMEEEE). All the little green buds, fluffy white puffs and huge pink blooms have arrived, and in addition to making me terribly happy, they remind me of the way that I used to dress myself when I was a little kid.

When I was allowed to, and I’m talking like 4 or 5 years old, I would put together hilarious outfits that nearly always included at least three different prints and my hot pink Tweety Bird high tops with lace fold-over socks. Hot. But I loved it. And regardless of how embarrassed my mom may have been, she let me do it because she knew it made me happy. I may or may not have incorporated Halloween costumes into my outfits from time to time.

But dressing should be this way. We spend all day in our clothes, ergo we should wear things that make us happy. Channel your inner Leandra Medine from Man Repeller, or at least your inner 4-year old self next time you get dressed.
