The majority of the dresses in my closet are of the little and black variety.  This is a vice that I am sure many women share – but it’s a hard habit to break when black dresses just. always. look. good.

In trying to add some variety to my dress collection, I first look for classic shapes and silhouettes.  If the colors and/or the print in the dress are loud, then I want to make sure that the shape of the dress is very classic.

I love the baroque print and the colors on this fabric.  The material is soft and thick and very structured, but this structured aspect makes the dress a lot more comfortable to wear – I don’t have to worry about it clinging if I eat too much pasta at dinner!!! (Yes, this is something I think about – I love to eat!)

In other news – TODAY IS MY LAST DAY OF CLASS!!! Three years of law school have flown by!!! Just a few exams and then I’m done!!!
