I always prefer experiences and memories over material gifts. This year for Valentine’s Day, (and our babymoon), Nick and I are in Naples trying to soak up as much time with each other as we can. For Valentine’s Day I am hoping we can wake up early, head to the beach to see the sunrise, grab some coffee, stroll through the shops in Old Naples and then spend the day at the beach, daydreaming together about the future.
But it is hard to pass up all the great restaurants down here, so for our Valentine’s Day Dinner, we are heading to The Continental, (which we have never been to but have heard rave reviews). The girls at one of my favorite local clothing stores, THREAD, in Columbus helped me picked out this red dress to wear for the occasion. I nearly wore it right out of the store because it is so comfortable. It is NOT a maternity dress, and the belt is supposed to tie at the waist rather than RIGHT under my boobs like I am wearing it hahah. But I think it works perfectly with the belly – and again…it’s like a super soft nightgown…crazy comfortable. THREAD is having a major sale right now through Feb 14 and you can save up to $300 on your purchase!
As I’ve mentioned over the past outfit posts since I’ve been pregnant, heels and I are not the greatest of friends. However, when I do want to wear heels, I make sure I have a pair that has great support and ties around the ankle so that I can’t walk out of them. These beauties are PERFECT because they support my ankle and my foot and they’re very easy to walk in. Best of all, they’re majorly on sale at the moment and they come in a few different colors.
I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine’s Day!!
