I love going down to Naples and waking up early just to get a couple iced coffees and walk up and down the beach with Nick.  It’s so quiet and peaceful early in the day – the water is still, the sand is cool and even the crickets haven’t gone to bed yet.

I always think that white dresses look perfect on the beach, and so I normally end up packing lots of white when I go on vacation. Plus, I have gotten more concerned about my skin as I’ve gotten older, and the more skin I have covered up means the less sunscreen I need to apply, (Seriously why did I go to the tanning bed so often in high school and college?! Why did we think that was cool?!).

This great hat from Lack of Colour is finally back in stock via Free People!  I wear it often and it seems to go with so many of my summer outfits.  It always gets lots of compliments and it keeps the sun off my face, neck and shoulders!
