Since the denim-on-denim style has come back around, I’ve tried to figure out the best way to wear the trend.  For me, it looks best to wear similar colors of denim but in different washes. Then, adding a lot of a neutral color helps to mitigate the entirely blue outfit – hence the sand colored coat.  Since denim is traditionally such a casual material, it helps dress up the look to pair some really good heels.

For spring, I’m excited to pair a good chambray shirt with a midi, distressed jean skirt and some nude heels.
