I love a good statement coat – especially when they are under $100. Annnddd I love finding new wall art in Columbus and I couldn’t pass up this cute little photobomber….or I guess maybe I’m the photobomber… I absolutely adore this wall art and would love to hang something like this in my living room! Which reminds me, just the other day I found myself browsing wall art on the Lulu & Georgia website. They have some amazing furniture too so if you are in the midst of a home decorating spree, you should take a look for some inspiration.

I recently had someone ask me what items I thought someone should really spend their money on in their closet. I have always been a proponent of spending money on the staples that you wear every season and for years to come. I would recommend shopping for deals, waiting for sales, or utilizing stores like Forever21 and H&M for trendy items. I also prefer to invest in bags and shoes that can be worn for numerous years/seasons. If I am purchasing designer bags or shoes, I would get neutral colors in classic designs. For trendier bags, I use a bag rental site, Bag, Borrow or Steal, to pick out bags like this or like this, that may be out of style in a couple years. For trendier shoes, I love Nordstrom Rack, Saks Off Fifth, and TJ Maxx – sometimes you can really find some great steals on major designer shoes!
