Since becoming pregnant I have discovered how valuable the advice from experienced moms (and dads) can be.  I try to ask questions of everyone and soak up as much as I can.  Sometimes the advice conflicts, and I realize that I won’t truly know which advice will work best for me until I go through each stage myself, but it is nice to be prepared and armed with as much knowledge as possible.

Sometimes a lot of the information can be scary – for first time moms, this is ALL brand new and the unknown is oftentimes terrifying. But I have learned that when I start to get anxious about the birth or becoming a mom, that if I start talking with my mommy friends about they way they love their kids or watch videos like this and then I feel so much better.  You have to balance the negatives with the positives, because the positives with this entire experience will ALWAYS win out.

And I am certainly looking forward to the days when snuggling with this little girl is what is truly real in my life. Side note: I will probably be wearing sweater dresses like this one basically erreday from now until she comes….just way too comfy and pants are literally the worst right now.
