This time of year, when the temperature varies between 45 and 80 degrees in one day, I always struggle with what to wear when I need to get dressed up.  Whether it is a dinner date, drinks with the girls or a fall wedding, your dressed-up outfit has to include layers and be appropriate for near-summer temps during the day and sometimes frigid temps in the evening. A very festive jewel-tone skirt paired with a light long-sleeve black shirt and simple black heels made this outfit feel dressed up, but not overly-so.  To balance the extreme feminineness of the skirt, I paired my new faux leather jacket and a snakeskin bag.

Had a fun and relaxing weekend and now I am procrastinating like crazy on my homework for the week. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!!
